Medical Office Admin Specialist program is designed to prepare candidates for the daily tasks that are often considered the backbone of any medical practice. Ultimately this position is responsible for all information needed to operate a healthcare practice beginning with the first contact with a patient. Medical Office Assistants are often in charge of recording payments, scheduling appointments, medical records management, supply management, prescription refill management and daily communication between the provider and the patient. This position is considered entry level and leads to other job opportunities and responsibilities within the healthcare field.
